The A350 XWB is the first-ever Airbus jetliner to be subjected to extreme weather testing at the U.S. Air Force's McKinley Climatic Laboratory in Florida. For these evaluations, the company's MSN2 developmental aircraft was exposed to a range of temperatures -- from 45 deg. C to -40 deg. C -- to validate various aircraft systems, including its in-flight entertainment, air conditioning, galley, water and waste systems.
