A350 XWB completes water ingestion tests

Airbus' A350 XWB demonstrated its ability to operate on wet runways during successful water ingestion tests conducted May 2014 at Istres, France. This testing validates how the aircraft would behave on a very rain-soaked runway, and verifies that neither the water under the aircraft nor the spray generated by the nose landing gear will enter the engines or APU.

Impressive 437 Refueling Squad

437 (T) Sqn is located at CFB Trenton, Ontario, Canada. The strategic airlift and Air-to-Air Refueling squadron is currently equipped with five CC-150 Polaris (A-310 Airbus) aircraft, a familiar sight not only in the skies around Trenton, but also across Canada and around the world. Their primary role is long-range transport of personnel and equipment - and VIP airlift, including members of the Royal Family, the Prime Minister, The Governor General and various heads of state.
